The KTM 990 RC R is the next step in this evolution, merging competition-driven engineering with street usability. The bike has been designed to minimise the compromises typical of sporty ergonomics and handling.
Street Edition
Despite its stripped back look, the KTM 990 RC R isn't just for the track. It's homologated for street use, blending performance with practicality.
The street edition KTM 990 RC R features a 57 kg EURO5+ ready LC8c engine. It delivers 103 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm and 128 PS, with a new stainless steel muffler and a reversible race-shift shifter.
The steel frame is engineered for dynamic performance with a 25-degree steering head angle and enhanced stiffness for stability and agility.
Ergonomics and Comfort
Ergonomics are crucial for the KTM 990 RC R. Extensive testing has optimised the six contact points on the tank for comfort and support.
