Built for Dakar: The 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica
Built for Dakar: The 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica

Built in limited numbers and available from July 2026 at AMS, the 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica is KTM’s factory-derived rally machine for riders who want something much closer to Dakar than a standard offroad bike.

Just over 100 units of the KTM 450 Rally Replica will be available, so this is one for serious rally riders, high-level offroad riders or anyone looking for one of KTM’s most focused production machines.

From Rally To Reality

The KTM 450 Rally Replica is built around the same kind of thinking that has taken KTM to repeated Dakar success.

KTM says the bike has carried 4 different riders to the top of the Dakar podium since 2020, while also playing a major role at the top level of RallyGP.

For 2027, the idea is simple. Take the engineering, performance and settings developed through rally competition, then make them available in a limited production model.

This is not just a rally-inspired bike. It is designed to be close to a complete and race-ready machine from the start.

Built Around A 450cc Rally Engine

At the heart of the 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica is a 450cc fuel-injected SOHC engine.

It is paired with a six-speed gearbox, premium Brembo hydraulic clutch and rally-specific gearing.

A titanium Akrapovič exhaust system is also fitted, helping reduce weight while supporting the bike’s power delivery.

That gives the Rally Replica the kind of setup you would expect from a bike built for long-distance rally riding, where performance, control and reliability all matter.

Frame, Suspension And Handling

The frame is hydro-formed, laser-cut and hand-welded.

KTM has built it to balance longitudinal and torsional flex, helping give the rider better feedback while keeping the bike stable and controlled.

The 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica also gets fully customisable WP PRO Suspension, which is easily adjustable.

For riders taking on changing terrain, that level of adjustability matters. It gives you more room to set the bike up for the conditions, the route and your riding style.

Rally-Specific Details

This is where the Rally Replica separates itself from a normal offroad bike.

The bike is fitted with a number of rally-focused parts designed for long-distance riding and tough terrain.

Key details include:

  • Dual radiators for improved cooling and added reliability
  • CNC-machined triple clamps with a 23 mm offset
  • Aluminium alloy tapered handlebar
  • Rally-tested foam rubber grips
  • Wider footpegs for better grip
  • Brembo braking power
  • Three fuel tanks with 34.5 litres of total capacity
  • Carbon fibre navigation tower
  • Digital roadbook compatibility with intuitive controls
  • Powerful LED light

The fuel capacity is a big one. With three tanks and 34.5 litres available, the bike is built with distance in mind, not just short bursts of offroad riding.

Built For Long Days Standing Or Sitting

Rally bikes need to work across long distances, often with the rider moving between seated and standing positions throughout the day.

The KTM 450 Rally Replica is designed around that kind of riding.

The cockpit, bodywork and aerodynamics are built to support comfort, protection from the elements and control when quick reactions are needed.

That makes sense for a bike designed around rally use, where rider position and fatigue can make a real difference.

Back in KTM Orange for 2027

For 2027, the KTM 450 Rally Replica switches back to traditional KTM orange.

It keeps the bike in line with the familiar KTM look, while still making it clear this is a specialist rally machine rather than a standard enduro model.

Luciano Benavides Factory Edition

KTM is also releasing 8 units of the KTM 450 Rally Replica Luciano Benavides Factory Edition.

This version celebrates Luciano Benavides’ 2026 Dakar win with Red Bull KTM.

The Factory Edition goes further than the standard Rally Replica, with:

  • Full Red Bull KTM livery
  • Factory carbon parts, including brake discs and tank pads
  • LE numbered emblem on the frame
  • Selle Dalla Valle seat
  • Mousse-equipped Michelin Rally tyres

Customers of the Luciano Benavides Factory Edition also receive a VIP handover from the Dakar champion, a signed race jersey and support from the Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Team during the 2026 KTM Adventure Rally in Italy.

Limited Numbers Available

Just over 100 units of the 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica will be available.

The Luciano Benavides Factory Edition is even more limited, with only 8 units being released.

That makes this a very rare opportunity to own one of KTM’s most specialist production bikes.

The latest line-up includes eight offroad machines built for technical terrain, with a focus on control, traction and predictable handling when the going gets tough.

For 2027, Husqvarna has kept the range centred around what matters most in enduro riding, a stable platform, good feedback and a bike that lets the rider focus on the next line.

What’s New For 2027?

The 2027 Husqvarna Enduro range gets a new look, led by white powder-coated frames across the line-up.

The updated graphics take inspiration from Husqvarna’s Swedish roots, giving the bikes a clear, sharp appearance that stands out against rough terrain.

Underneath the new look, the focus remains on control and confidence. Husqvarna has built the range around proven platforms, with predictable handling and carefully developed ergonomics designed to help riders move freely on the bike.

Built For Technical Terrain

Enduro riding is all about finding grip, keeping momentum and choosing the right line.

That is where the 2027 Husqvarna Enduro range is aimed. These bikes are built for riders taking on technical, unpredictable terrain where small changes in control can make a big difference.

The chassis is designed to give a stable and predictable feel, helping riders stay confident when conditions are rough, tight or changing quickly.

Husqvarna also points to the riding of Billy Bolt from Husqvarna Factory Racing as proof of how important precision and control are in technical terrain.

WP XACT Suspension

The 2027 Enduro range uses WP XACT suspension across the line-up.

At the front, the bikes are fitted with WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks, while the rear uses a WP XACT shock.

The aim is consistent comfort, feedback and stability, so the bike responds directly to rider input.

For riders, that means more confidence when picking lines, dealing with obstacles or keeping the bike settled across rough ground.

Engine And Rider Control

The 2-stroke models use Throttle Body Injection, helping deliver controllable power across technical terrain.

On the 4-stroke models, the Multifunctional Map Select Switch houses the Quickshifter and Traction Control buttons.

That gives riders useful control options without overcomplicating things, especially when conditions change and the bike needs to respond cleanly.

Components That Matter

Husqvarna has fitted the 2027 Enduro range with race-tested parts from well-known names.

Technical highlights include:

  • WP XACT Closed Cartridge front forks
  • WP XACT rear shock
  • Throttle Body Injection on 2-stroke engines
  • Multifunctional Map Select Switch on 4-stroke models
  • Quickshifter and Traction Control buttons on 4-stroke models
  • Race-tested components from Brembo, GSK, Michelin, ProTaper, Twin Air and ODI

It is a strong parts list for riders who want proper offroad equipment from the factory.

Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty

Husqvarna Mobility’s offroad models are covered by a Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty. This provides 12 months of warranty cover, subject to the policy terms and conditions.

To keep the warranty valid, servicing and the required service intervals must be completed by an authorised Husqvarna Mobility dealership. As an authorised dealer, AMS can carry out the servicing needed to help maintain your warranty cover.

The 2027 KTM 790 Duke returns sharper than ever
The 2027 KTM 790 Duke returns sharper than ever

AMS Motorcycles are now taking enquiries for the 2027 KTM 790 Duke, with orders due through from late July.

Known as The Scalpel, the 790 Duke returns for 2027 with sharper styling, improved rider ergonomics, updated tech and a stronger focus on control.

This is still the middleweight Naked bike built for riders who want a sharp, agile and responsive machine. The difference for 2027 is that KTM has made it feel more refined, more natural to ride and more in line with the larger Duke models.

What Has Changed For 2027?

The 2027 KTM 790 Duke has had its most extensive update so far.

Visually, it now takes inspiration from the KTM 990 Duke and KTM 1390 Super Duke R, with a more aggressive stance and a stronger road presence.

Key styling changes include:

  • Redesigned headlight unit
  • Streamlined bodywork
  • Larger front fairing
  • Reshaped fuel tank

The result is a 790 Duke that looks more grown up, without losing the sharp character that made the bike stand out in the first place.

Same Proven Engine

Underneath the new look, the 2027 KTM 790 Duke keeps the proven 799 cc LC8c parallel twin engine.

It delivers:

  • 105 hp in the standard version
  • 95 hp in the A2 licence compliant version
  • EURO 5+ compliance
  • A newly designed exhaust and muffler

That means the engine stays familiar, but the overall package has been updated around it.

Improved Riding Position

One of the biggest updates for 2027 is the revised rider triangle.

KTM has changed the handlebar shape, rider footpegs, passenger footpegs and seat to create a more natural and connected riding position.

The new handlebar has a more open angle, while the revised seat and footpeg positions are designed to help the rider feel more in tune with the bike.

This is the kind of change that matters in real riding. It is not just about how the bike looks on paper, it is about how it feels once you are on it.

Lighter And Sharper

Although the 2027 KTM 790 Duke has a larger, more mature look, it is actually 2 kg lighter than before.

KTM has also added:

  • New subframe
  • New triple clamps
  • New tank design

Together, these updates are designed to improve handling, ergonomics and feedback from the chassis and front wheel.

In simple terms, the 790 Duke should feel sharper, more agile and easier to place exactly where you want it.

Better Brakes As Standard

The 2027 KTM 790 Duke also gets all-new WP radial brakes as standard.

This is a complete braking system developed in-house by WP, designed to give more braking power with less effort at the lever.

KTM says the system offers:

  • Improved braking power
  • A smooth, linear response
  • No harsh initial bite
  • Better control and feel

That should make a real difference for riders who want confidence when braking hard, especially on twistier roads or when riding at a quicker pace.

Updated WP Suspension

The suspension has also been updated for 2027.

At the front, the 790 Duke uses WP APEX 43 mm open-cartridge upside-down forks with 150 mm of travel. These use split-function technology, with adjustable compression and rebound damping.

At the rear, there is an adjustable, gas-assisted WP APEX Monotube shock absorber with 170 mm of travel, adjustable rebound damping and preload.

The suspension can also be adjusted using an easy-to-use 5-click dial, making it simpler to fine-tune the bike without making things overcomplicated.

More Grip And Better Standard Kit

KTM has also upgraded the tyre specification to Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.

The 2027 KTM 790 Duke also comes with a WP steering damper as standard, giving riders another useful piece of high-spec equipment straight from the factory.

KTM has also confirmed that rider feedback has been taken on board, with Demo Mode being phased out from future models.

Still The Scalpel

The 790 Duke has always been about precision, agility and control.

For 2027, KTM has kept that same sharp character but made the bike feel more complete. The updated styling gives it a stronger look, the revised riding position should make it feel more natural and the lighter weight helps keep the quick handling that riders expect from The Scalpel.

It is still built to cut through corners and respond quickly to rider input, just with a more polished overall package.
