The KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO is back for 2027, combining KTM’s two stroke Enduro platform with a long list of HARDENDURO specific components fitted as standard.
Developed for riders taking on tough terrain and demanding races, the 2027 model builds on years of Hard Enduro competition and development. It also gets updated graphics for the new model year, helping set it apart from the standard KTM EXC and EXC 6DAYS ranges.
For riders looking for a KTM Enduro bike with plenty of additional protection and premium equipment already fitted, there’s a lot to like.
Built Around the KTM 300 EXC
At the heart of the HARDENDURO is KTM’s lightweight two stroke platform, combining low weight with strong torque delivery for demanding Enduro riding.
For 2027, KTM has added a carefully selected package of components specifically for the HARDENDURO. These cover everything from suspension and wheels to protection, controls and braking.

A Look of Its Own
The HARDENDURO also gets a distinctive appearance that separates it from the rest of KTM’s Enduro range.
For 2027 there are updated HARDENDURO specific graphics alongside an orange frame, orange Factory frame protectors and several other orange details throughout the bike.
A black ribbed Diamante Factory seat completes the look, while the grey soft ODI grips and HARDENDURO bar pad add a few more model specific touches.
Made for Tough Terrain
The HARDENDURO specification is about more than appearance.
Protection comes from the skid plate, brake disc guards, Factory frame protectors and clutch slave cylinder protection. There are also front and rear pull straps, a radiator fan and wrap around handguards included as standard.
The WP XACT Closed Cartridge front forks feature base valve preload adjusters, while the Factory wheel set combines EXCEL rims with orange hubs and Metzeler 6Days Extreme tyres.
Together, it makes for a bike that comes well equipped from the factory for the demanding conditions that Hard Enduro riding can throw at it.
