Travel in total comfort
Three of the headline improvements for 2023 are suspension, seat ergonomics and specialised Mitas TERRA FORCE-R tyres.
The sophisticated WP Semi-Active Suspension hardware and software helps to smooth out every route and all terrains whilst you simply enjoy the ride.
Improved ergonomics and refined bodywork emphases control but also improves ride comfort and confidence. The seat height can be adjusted to 849 or 869 mm to cater for riders of all sizes.
The new tires are specially designed for the 1290 Super Adventure S and provide an unbelievable level of grip and long term performance that’ll keep you going and going and going…
New eye-catching colour schemes
New models deserve new colour schemes, and the folks at the KTM factory are giving the 1290 Super Adventure S two distinct spray jobs for 2023.
The first is a nod to the classic KTM colorway, featuring a solid shock of KTM orange across the tank and under the seat. This is the iconic KTM look.
If you like your colour palettes a little more subtle then you’re in luck. Graded grey is a neutral, more business-like colour scheme that looks equally at home blasting across borders as it does weaving through city traffic.

Improved onboard navigation
It’s been a few years since KTM introduced their patented 7 inch TFT display on their travel and adventure bikes. Roaming roads everywhere and anywhere has now been made even easier with addition of Turn-by-Turn+ guidance.
The KTMConnectApp now allows waypoints to be set without digging out your phone.
Little bits of luxury
When travelling long distances it’s the little things that make all the difference.
The LED lights, reengineered windscreen and adjuster, multi-part saddle, illuminated switches and light aluminium side-stand all fit neatly into this category and really enhance the travel experience.
