In 2018 KTM set the standard in the midweight travel sector with the KTM 790 adventure. The bikes awesome blend of energizing performance and rider empowerment lit up this niche segment and fresh-faced adventure riders haven't been shy to drop the bag on them.
KTM but the bikes success down to a couple of factors:

But 2018 is a long time ago in the motorcycles world and it was obvious for KTM that there was an appetite for an overhaul of this ideal ‘first taste’ foil for people curious or anxious for adventure.
Re-designed and redrafted in Mattighofen, Austria

KTM's designers in Austria have gone back to the drawing board for MY23, crawling over every detail of this much loved bike. KTM’s close partner, CFMOTO, with their first-class facilities in China will look after production. The process will be supervised by KTM staff on the ground.
Improved rideability from the LC8c

The 2018 version was loved for its torque and responsiveness. For the bike’s comeback KTM wanted even more ‘rideability’ from the LC8c. That means it still knocks out 95 hp at 8,000 rpm and 88 Nm at 6,500 rpm but also meets Euro 5 emissions targets.
The 2023 KTM 790 ADVENTURE is now more stable and better in the corners thanks to a 20% increase of rotating mass. The throttle bodies are more efficient connection due to the enhanced combustion. The new bikes handles differing quality of petrol better now thanks to the ‘knock control’ sensor affording a higher state of ignition.
A reconfigured optional Quickshifter+ enables faster shifting; all of which can be heard through the very latest exhaust system with 2023 catalytic converter and pre-muffler. This is one of the largest modifications to ensure this vibrant generation of the KTM 790 ADVENTURE will be an impeccable choice for moving in, around and then outside of the city limits. The 15,000 km service intervals remain in concrete.
Refined riding with new WP APEX Suspension
The front forks have been upgraded to the 2023 spec WP Apex Suspension fork. The pillion has been stiffened through the clever construction of the CroMo frame for high capacity load-carrying. A repositioned rear shock lowers the seat height to 840mm.
