For added control and customisation, the handlebar-mounted switchcube allows riders to seamlessly toggle between three ride modes – ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT – to suit the terrain or their riding style. It also enables quick adjustments to the energy recuperation settings, with OFF, MID, and HIGH modes, helping riders maximise range while maintaining optimal performance. Additionally, traction control can be fine-tuned through the switchcube, allowing precise management of rear wheelspin for the desired ride experience.

The FREERIDE E’s new chromoly steel frame and reinforced aluminium/glass-fiber subframe make it both strong and lightweight, with a total ready-to-ride weight of just 112 kg. This translates to 2-3 hours of Enduro riding time, depending on your style, and the battery is constructed to withstand over 1,000 charge cycles before dipping to 80% capacity. For longer adventures, the battery is easily removable in under 10 minutes, allowing you to swap in a spare and keep the ride going.
Charging is straightforward, with the included 660 W charger taking less than 8 hours for a full charge on a standard household outlet. For quicker turnarounds, the battery can reach between 20-80% in just 4-5 hours.
Safety Meets Simplicity
The FREERIDE E’s electric drivetrain eliminates the need for a clutch or gearbox, making it easier than ever for newcomers to focus on technique and positioning. For added peace of mind, the bike includes a rollover sensor that cuts power in the event of a fall, as well as an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating for the Lithium-Ion battery.
Braking performance is equally impressive, with BRAKTEC hydraulic systems and 260/240 mm wavy discs front and rear. The bike’s unique design mounts both front and rear brakes on the handlebars, giving riders better control in technical scenarios.
