KTM release 250 SX-F Adamo Factory Edition: Only 80 to be made

KTM release 250 SX-F Adamo Factory Edition: Only 80 to be made

When Andrea Adamo clinched the 2023 FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship title on home soil at the Grand Prix of Italy, he became the tenth different KTM rider to clinch the top prize aboard the KTM 250 SX-F.

To celebrate the Italian rider's remarkable first season as a Factory Racing team member, the Austria-based manufacturer have released the 2025 KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Factory Edition.

This special model embodies KTM’s Ready to Race ethos, but you won’t be seeing it on many start lines across the UK. Only 80 units will be made and here at AMS Motorcycles, we’re crossing our fingers that we’ll be lucky enough to get hold of one.

Personalise the bike's performance

KTM set out to make the Adamo Edition as close to Andrea’s championship winning bike as possible. Like the rest of the SX-F range, the Adamo edition is fitted with KTM’s pioneering Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) which allows riders to fine tune engine behaviour and suspension settings via the KTMconnect app.

With the help of official partners LitPto, riders can also dive into a similar suite of analytics riders like Andrea Adamo use to improve their riding, including:

• Racing lines
• Lap times
• Gearing
• Throttle position
• G force
• Jump distance
• And much more

Factory-racing looks and decals

The Adamo Edition looks very similar to the bike Andrea will ride in 2024's FIM MX2 championship. The iconic red race plate with number #80 and Adamo’s signature adds to the exclusive feel of the bike.

Championship grip

The KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Edition comes with Pirelli Scorpion MX 32 Mid Softs on the front and rear. These are the tires that took Andrea to the title so are the obvious choice for his signature bike.

The hardest hardware

The Adamo Edition’s hardware bears a striking resemblance to the highly-rated 2024 KTM 250 SF-X. Notable upgrades include a slightly lighter frame and a carbon-reinforced skid plate that’s designed to handle the biggest hits.

The lightweight engine produces a remarkable amount of power, reaching 14,000 rpm when hitting the limiter. Akrpovič’s slip on exhaust comes as standard but is also available as an extra on the more readily available 2024 KTM 250 SX-F.

Stopping power and suspension

A 260mm Brembo disc sits on the front and 220mm disc on the rear. The rear lever has been reinforced to stand up to the rigours of professional-level racing. Factory-designed black rims add another notch aesthetically, whilst also providing unrivalled protection without adding much weight.

2025 KTM 250 SF-X Adamo Edition

KTM’s unique relationship with WP Suspension comes to fruition again on the Adamo model. A fully adjustable 48mm WP XACT front fork offers 310mm of progressive and consistent dampening to boost rider confidence on tricky terrain. At the rear, WP’s XACT Shock provides next level dampening and improves rider comfort.

Both shocks are fully adjustable by hand for quick, no-tools tweaking on the go.

Alternatives to the Adamo Edition

As we’ve come to expect from KTM’s factory editions, the 2025 KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Edition is a stud of a bike. Unfortunately, it’ll be incredibly hard to get your hands on one, but there are other options that’ll provide more than enough speed, power and control for competitive motcross and supercross riders.

Prices dropped across the entire 2024 MX range

The 2024 KTM 250 SX-F is available here in our Tewkesbury showroom and is equipped as standard with many of the features listed in this article.

KTM have also just adjusted their pricing structure across the entire 2024 MX range, reducing the RRP by 19%ish.
