The next generation of KTM motocross bikes has arrived. With the launch of the 2026 KTM SX range, riders of all ages and skill levels can now experience the most refined, competitive and READY TO RACE line-up to date. Featuring 10 models across the 2-stroke, 4-stroke and Sportminicycle categories, this updated collection is sharper, faster and tougher than ever.
From the KTM 50 SX for young racers to the KTM 450 SX-F, which has crushed the competition in MXGP and AMA Supercross, the latest range is built to push the boundaries on every lap. Available from August 2025, these bikes feature updated chassis components, refined suspension and bold new styling that mark a fresh chapter in KTM’s offroad progression.
Championship-Built Power and Precision
At the core of the full-size SX and SX-F models is the championship-winning formula of agile handling, explosive engine performance and class-leading electronics. Riders now have the option to enhance their setup with the Connectivity Unit Offroad, which when paired with the KTMconnect app, allows detailed tuning of engine maps, traction control and suspension settings to suit any track or rider preference.
These enhancements are more than skin-deep. A revitalised orange colour scheme is complemented by purple tank spoilers, purple fork guards, a black seat and powder-coated black frame, making the 2026 range instantly recognisable. Under the plastics, KTM has standardised the radiator closure for easier maintenance and access across the range and introduced a fuel injection unit protector cap on applicable models to improve durability.

Refined Durability Across the 2-Stroke Line-Up
In the 2-stroke line-up, the KTM 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX benefit from updated wiring harness routing, with refined fixing points to improve weather resistance and reliability over time.
Racing Starts Early: Sportminicycles Reimagined
At the other end of the spectrum, KTM continues to lead the field with its Sportminicycle range. The KTM 50 SX, 50 SX FACTORY EDITION, 65 SX and 85 SX are purpose-built to help young riders progress from their first laps to national-level racing. For 2026, these bikes feature several important updates that align them more closely with the full-size machines, giving youngsters the best possible bikes to develop their skills.

New Suspension and Stronger Components for Youth Models
The KTM 50 SX and KTM 65 SX are now equipped with a new WP XACT AER front fork, offering improved damping and a redesigned air cartridge and sealing system for better ride quality and adjustability. The triple clamps on all Sportminicycles now match the full-size range, using a 17 mm wrench size and a closed screw nut format to improve protection against water and dirt.
KTM has also improved resistance across the board. A new throttle cable stabilisation cap prevents kinking, while the KTM 65 SX gains a reinforced clutch fixation system with higher torque resistance and pre-coating for improved long-term performance. All Sportminicycles now feature a laser-cut exhaust flange gasket, enhancing reliability and a redesigned exhaust valve ventilation system developed in Austria for greater durability.
Fit and Flexibility for Growing Racers
For growing racers, the KTM 85 SX offers additional flexibility thanks to a new rear brake lever with two adjustable length settings, helping riders fine-tune the ergonomics during the transition from smaller machines.
Factory-Level Flair for Future Champions
Meanwhile, the KTM 50 SX FACTORY EDITION gives young talent a boost of factory flair with READY TO RACE PowerParts, race replica graphics and enhanced components to help close the gap between junior aspirations and podium reality.
