KTM’s 2027 SX motocross range has been announced, with nine bikes covering junior riders, 2-stroke fans and full-size 4-strokes.
That means the range starts with the KTM 50 SX for younger riders and runs right up to the KTM 450 SX-F.
Nine Bikes Across The Range
For 2027, KTM’s motocross line-up includes three minicycles for junior riders and six full-size SX and SX-F models.

Full-size 2-stroke and 4-stroke models:
That gives riders a clear route through the KTM motocross range, from early offroad riding through to full-size competition bikes.
New 2027 Look
The most obvious change for 2027 is the new colourway and graphics.

KTM has gone even stronger on the orange, with red on the tank spoilers to give the bikes a fresh look on track.
The decals are in-moulded too, so they are built to last and resist wear rather than just looking good when the bike is new.
Frame, Engine And Riding Feel
The 2027 KTM SX range is built around the same things motocross riders care about most, power, handling and control.
The steel frame is hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded, with years of development behind it. KTM says feedback from its race-winning riders has helped shape the frame, with the aim of improving response, stability, flex and weight across the different bike sizes.
The engines are compact and built for strong torque and horsepower. The 2-stroke models also use EFI, bringing fuel injection into the 2-stroke side of the range.
The bikes are meant to feel sharp, lively and controlled.
Proper Parts
The full-size KTM SX-F models get high-spec equipment, with strong parts used across the wider SX family too.
Key components include:
- WP Suspension XACT hardware and settings
- Pankl gearboxes
- Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres across the range
- Excel rims with CNC hubs
- Brembo clutches and brake systems
- NEKEN handlebars
- ODI lock-on grips
- Keihin throttle bodies
The 300 SX Still Stands Out
One model KTM calls out specifically is the KTM 300 SX.

It keeps its place in the range for riders who want that strong 2-stroke feel, but with modern tech helping manage the power and weight.
So, if you still like a proper 2-stroke motocross bike with plenty of punch, the 300 SX remains one of the big draws in the 2027 line-up.
New Offroad Warranty Cover
The 2027 KTM SX, SX-F and minicycle models fall under KTM’s new Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty for offroad models in certain territories.
The policy provides 12 months of warranty cover for added peace of mind against parts or manufacturing defects.
As always, servicing matters. The warranty applies when servicing and service intervals are met by an authorised dealer like us.
