Chris Fillmore KTM/HMC Superbike team member has ridden his KTM Duke 790 to victory at the legendary Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado, USA.

KTM used their European Adventure Rally as the perfect location to announce that the new 790 Adventure R will go into production in 2019.

We’re not the only ones who adore the nimble handling and raw power of the KTM Duke 390. Motorcycle bar and restaurant owner Shumel Avital from New York City was the proud owner of a custom Dukey, until he showed up to work on June 5 and found it AWOL.

This week we have a powerful and elegant new model in store, suitable for lone-riders or those KTM enthusiasts looking to enjoy a few adventures together.

We’re delighted to announce a fantastic forthcoming ‘open evening’ to be held here at AMS Motorcycles in Tewkesbury.  

The event, to take place on Thursday 26th April, is open to our valued customers and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the region and will feature a special guest appearance from professional KTM racer Bradley Smith.

Twenty-seven-year-old Smith, originally from Oxfordshire, is currently enjoying his second season as a factory rider competing for the official KTM team.

This year he races into his sixth season in the toughest and most demanding of all world sporting arenas – the 19 round MotoGP World Championship that races in 15 different countries and five continents between March 2018 and November 2019.

He will be on hand to meet our guests, answer questions and sign autographs for MotoGP fans.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a first look at two new bikes set to join our KTM and Husqvarna range in the coming months. We’re lucky enough to have test models in store for the hotly anticipated KTM 790 Duke and the immaculately designed Vitpilen 701, so come on down and take a look for yourself!  

Along with a tasty hog-roast and plenty of refreshments, visitors will be free to look around the store and make purchases and our staff will also be on hand to chat about any KTM or Husqvarna products you would like to discuss.
